Church partnerships

A new paradigm is afoot. In the past most churches were happy enough to limit their involvement in cross-cultural ministry to supporting their missionaries with prayer and finances.  Today churches are becoming much more proactive, even developing their own global strategies. They desire hands-on partnerships that engage them as a church on a number of levels.

Some churches are also seeking a more church-centric approach to mission.   Based on their unique make-up as a local body of believers, they are determining a strategic focus that will utilise their member’s strengths and resources for maximum global and local impact.

WEC NZ is a church-centred organisation, in that we seek to work with church leaders from the beginning of any and every relationship.  We believe that the local church is the sending community.  Our function in this "apostolic mix" so to speak is to work alongside church leadership to ensure that church-centred workers are sufficiently screened, equipped, sent and supported.
